Living World Denpasar is a shopping center located in Denpasar, Bali. Located in North Denpasar, the mall opened in 2023 and is owned by the Kawan Lama Group, an Indonesian company known for its hardware and furniture business. Living World Denpasar is Kawan Lama Group’s third mall under the “Living World” brand, following Living World Alam Sutera and Living World Pekanbaru. Spanning 12 hectares, Living World Denpasar is the largest mall in Bali.
Construction of Living World Denpasar began in early 2020, when the foundation was laid. Construction took a long time due to the Covid-19 pandemic; initially targeted for completion in 2022, the mall finally opened on March 24, 2023, at an inauguration ceremony attended by the Deputy Governor of Bali, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati. Kawan Lama Group invested Rp800 billion to realize the mall. The building’s architect is Urban Architects from Thailand, with PT Megatika Grahalestari Internasional as the architect of record.The mall is designed to be environmentally friendly, such as using solar panels for energy resources, building designs that minimize solar heat through garden landscape play, and utilizing sunlight through the use of skylights.
