Tegenungan Waterfall is a great attraction for nature lovers staying in Ubud or have neighbouring Sukawati among their sightseeing itineraries. The waterfall is halfway between Ubud and Bali’s provincial capital of Denpasar and is considered the closest natural attraction of its kind that you can reach within a half-hour drive southeast from Ubud central. The Tegenungan Gianyar waterfall tourist attraction also has another name, namely the Kemenuh waterfall. Because this waterfall is located in the village of Kemenuh, Gianyar district. The address or location of the Kemenuh waterfall, is in Kemenuh Village which is an area of Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. Being in the waterfall area is very cool because it is surrounded by shady trees. Starting from the bushes, branching trees, and don’t forget the coconut trees also enliven the atmosphere. The combination of green with clear waterfalls is a perfect sight.

Ubud is most well-known by international travelers as the greenest part of Bali because it has a lot of tourist attractions with green features, such as lush forests, ridge walks, and rice terraces. One of the most popular green attractions here is Tegallalang Rice Fields. Also known  as Tegallalang Rice Terrace, it is a series of beautifully arranged paddies which follows the traditional Balinese irrigation system called “subak.” The system is said to have been passed down by a sage named Rsi Markandeya in the 8th century.
